Foreign Diplomats Welcome China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and Its Opening Prospects

The proposals put forward by the Chinese leadership for the formulation of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030) for China’s economic and social development have sent a positive signal regarding China’s unwavering determination to expand high-level opening and share its opportunities with the world, foreign envoys in China said on Monday, November 10, 2025.

These senior diplomats from more than 160 countries, including over 90 ambassadors and chargés d’affaires in China, made their remarks during a thematic briefing on the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), organized by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

The envoys expressed full confidence and expectations in China’s future development prospects, as well as their countries’ willingness to deepen exchanges and cooperation with China and jointly promote peace and development worldwide.
