A Chinese cultural and language center has been established in Abidjan with the aim of strengthening educational cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and Côte d’Ivoire. The inauguration of this institution took place on February 7, 2026, in the presence of Ivorian and Chinese authorities.
This institution, designed to serve as a cultural bridge, seeks not only to facilitate the learning of French for Chinese people but also to make the Chinese language accessible to Ivorians.
Ivorian authorities present at the inauguration ceremony regard this center as a symbol of Sino‑Ivorian cooperation.
