On April 28, the Chinese Academy of Sciences officially launched its artificial intelligence (AI) system “Panshi 100.” This system is based on the “Panshi Fundamental Scientific Large Model,” designed as an intelligent infrastructure to meet cross‑disciplinary research needs. It is accompanied by a set of specialized models covering eight major disciplines, forming a cluster of sector‑specific models. Altogether, the system is expected to contribute to the emergence of a structured innovation ecosystem where AI strengthens and transforms scientific research activities.
