Construction of the New Nantong Railway Station on the Shanghai–Nanjing–Hefei High‑Speed Line in Full Swing

The construction project of Nantong Railway Station (Jiangsu) covers a total area of 117,500 m². Once operational, the station will ensure smooth connections and efficient transfers between the Nanjing–Qidong line, the Shanghai–Nanjing–Hefei high‑speed line, and other routes.

After completion, a fast rail corridor will link the metropolitan areas of Shanghai, Nanjing, and Hefei, making a vital contribution to the creation of a “railway network” in the Yangtze River Delta. It will optimize the configuration of the rail system along the Yangtze River, serve the high‑quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and support the integrated high‑quality development of the Yangtze River Delta, among other benefits.
