Teen Successfully Operated by Dr. Deng Bin of the Chinese Medical Mission in Benin

On September 9, Dr. Deng Bin, an otorhinolaryngology (ENT) specialist from China’s 27th medical mission in Benin, successfully removed a hemangioma from the left nasal cavity of a 15‑year‑old adolescent at the Departmental Hospital Center of Lokossa, in the Mono region.

Before the operation, Dr. Deng Bin made a precise diagnosis and designed a surgical protocol tailored to the patient’s condition. Thanks to his expertise and technical mastery, he carried out the procedure successfully, definitively treating an ailment that had caused the young patient suffering for eight months.

For many years, Chinese medical teams in Benin have been fully committed to their mission. Despite challenges such as limited availability of medical equipment and the complexity of certain pathologies, they strive to overcome these difficulties and perform numerous surgical interventions for the benefit of Beninese patients.

Through their concrete actions and constant dedication, Chinese medical teams contribute to improving patient care and strengthening the bonds of friendship and solidarity between China and Benin.
